LINKS! CAMCRUNCH: www.camcrunch.com TWITTER www.twitter.com FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com This is a basic guide for those of you who want to buy your first camera. It is a very efficient way in deciding what camera is right for you, and a way for you to possibly save some money in the process. Photography can be a serious hobby, but cost should always be a consideration, especially for those who are not making any money from it. The basic steps are: 1. Do not borrow money or take a loan out for a camera if you do not have any intention of becoming a professional. Buy ONLY what you can afford. 2. Have a budget and stick to to. 3. Look at the cheapest options, even if there is still a lot of room in your budget. This can save you a lot of money, while still finding something you hare happy with! Pentax kx vs Panosonic lumix FZ35 / FZ38 – Photo comparison These two cameras are often compared by people wishing to expand their photography past the normal point and shoot camera. The pentax kx is an entry level dslr where as the fz35 is a high end, ultrazoom point and shoot camera. The fz35 is in the top of point and shoot class and has incredible optics as well as photo quality, with a sensor larger than most point and shoots. It hosts a 18x zoom lens, which is just the right amount, anymore and you start to get problems with optics. The kx is an entry level dslr and hosts everything you could want in your first dslr, its learning curve is much higher but handles very well. It is arguably the best entry level dslr on the market, now selling for at almost the same price as the fz35. I cant recommend both more. This is a comparison of how each camera has handled in various situations over my year or so of having them.
I want my first DSLR to be easy to use. And it’s video mode should be really nice too, it should be easy to capture videos. ( like you do on an iPhone) you press one button and it records videos, and everything is in focus, I don’t want to manually focus which is hard. and I’m not serious about photography, just want to take good pictures when with friends and family. just want best image quality possible on an entry level DSLR

This is a review of the Cotton Carrier camera system. This is a great product for entry level to pros alike. If you want to have a way to securely attach your camera to you without it moving around, this is it!
This is a review of the Dolica 67″ mono pod for Digital and DSLR cameras. This is a great mono pod, and much like the Dolica tripod I reviewed in another video, it works great, at a fantastic price. Definatly worth picking one of these up.
This is a review for the Dolica 62 inch ball head tripod for digital and DSLR cameras. This tripod is about – but can often be found on Amazon for cheaper. This is a great little trip
I’ve been DSLR hunting for a while now. I’m trying to make the transition from point and shoot to entry level DSLR. After TONS of research, I’ve gotten a better idea of what I want but I need help narrowing thing down. Here’s what I’d like my camera to have:
-Compatibility with macro lens
-Live view
-Works well for both planned shots and quick snap shots
-Somewhat compact (this one isn’t too important)
-Dust control
-Simple, and entry level
-Low price! This one is pretty important. I don’t want to spend over 0 unless it’s totally necessary.
I plan on using my camera to take mostly outdoor shots. I take macro and portrait shots.
Recommendations? I’m highly considering the Pentax K-X. Thoughts?
Thank you all!
