I am a Canon 60D user. My friend loves how I can change lenses and record full HD videos so hes considering a jump into the world of DSLRs but have no basic knowledge at all in photography yet. So he asked me to recommend an entry level camera with smart auto functions and easy to use. I have listed down four cameras according to the price i think is affordable to him, although I don’t know his price range for sure;
- Canon 1100D
- Nikon D3100
- Sony SLT-A35
- Sony NEX-C3
but I never touched them before so I don’t know which one to recommend. Help?
There are full frame dslr’s like the D700 and 5D mark II but why did the camera industry decided to make sensors smaller than 35mm film slr’s. I know it’s still pretty big much larger than point and shoot cameras but why didn’t they stick with 35mm or close to that? Film point and shoots sensors were mostly bigger than digital point and shoots too right?
I think I missed sensor with something else. Isn’t the mirror thing where light that goes through the lens hit the sensor?
*is the sensor.
Welcome to my full review of the Nikon D5100 dSLR camera. I will be covering pretty much everything you need to know in the review itself. The camera is filled with awesome effects and capable of recording full HD video at 1920×1080p at 25 frames per second. It has a microphone input jack for connecting external audio equipment such as a mixer or a microphone, directly to the camera. I consider this an entry level dSLR camera so it’s great for beginners and amateur photographers. Feel free to subscribe to the channel to catch my next review. The pictures taken with the camera look stunning and the kit lens is very good compared to other standard kit lenses. However I would always recommend you to get extra lenses, otherwise what would be the purpose of buying a dSLR. I hope you like my full review of the Nikon D5100. Nikon has unveiled the D3100, its latest entry-level offering and its first DSLR that can record full 1080p HD videos. Successor to the popular D3000, it is built around a 14.2 CMOS sensor and a 3 inch LCD. As well as movies it gains Live View shooting, a wider ISO range ( 100-3200 expandable to 12800) and a host of small revisions. We’ve been given access to a pre-production version of the camera which we’ve used to prepare a hands-on preview, looking at the changes Nikon has made to its best-selling DSLR. @ amzn.to
Canon EOS T3i: Hands-on preview by dpreview.com Read the full Canon EOS Rebel T3i quick review at dpreview.com Canon has unveiled the EOS T3i (known in Europe as the EOS 600D) upper entry-level DSLR. It continues to use the 18MP CMOS sensor seen in the Rebel T2i (550D) but gains a tilt and swivel 1040k dot LCD monitor like the one offered on the more expensive 60D. It also gains the ability to remotely control flashguns using its internal flash, a feature previously only featured on higher-end models. Alongside the camera, Canon is also launching the 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS II, a cosmetically revised version of its optically stabilized kit lens. We’ve had a chance to use pre-production versions of both and have prepared a Hands-On Preview of the EOS 600D including beta samples gallery. purchase one here: tinyurl.com
