I narrowed down my options into these 2 entry-level cameras.. torn between these 2. Any suggestions PLEASE..
Considerations: dimensions and weight (for travelling purposes), ease of use, warranty + quality of the product, CAPTURING PHOTOS: YES, VIDEO: not much 6-7/10, price not much of an issue
I need suggestions from users of either of the two or of their previous models..
PS: It’s my first dSLR camera
thanks!!

Hello,
I am looking to buy a new entry-level DSLR for both stills and video capture.
I stress the video capture because I do alot of amateur video productions and documentaries.
I’m pretty much asking which camera will perform better in BOTH still photography and video.
The camera is for all around photography, and it’s primary use will be in Europe this summer and ski trips this winter.
I’m sort of in a hurry as I’ve seen great deals on both cameras on sale recently, so promt resposes are appreciated.
I am planning on buying a DSLR camera. Right now I have a sony digital camera. I plan to upgrade to a dslr camera very soon. My price range is around 700. The main features I need are: 12+ mp, I do a lot of picture editing and need to be able to zoom in to do precise edits, Full Hd video at 24fps and 30fps, I plan to make movies with it, so I need features to make good quality short films. A range of settings, such as ISO, exposure, white balance(for video), etc. The three main models I am debating between are the: The Nikon D3100, Canon T1i, and Canon T2i, but if there is a better choice for my needs then I am open to that, as long as it is in my price range.
A “slide show” with the digital cameras I owned in time and some of my best shots Canon a530 – great as a start-up camera to explore your creativity (Manual Mode) Fujifilm 6500fd – one of the all-time best bridge camera with a huge sensor (1/1,7″) and very decent lens range Nikon D40 – entry level DSLR, perfect for beginners, had it with 18-55, 55-200 and 50 1.8 (only worked with manual focus) Canon 350D – still entry level DSLR, + battery friendly lcd, – no AF assist light, bought it for a lens (Tamron 28-75 2.8) Canon IXUS 80 is – a downgrade due to financial reasons. Great pocket cam, nice design and a fantastic in-built timelapse software (I posted one on Youtube) Nilon D3000 – back to DSLR, very decent body, comes with 18-55 VR as a kit lens, love the AF assist light, miss the small LCD from the Canon 350D
I’m a 13 year old boy in the city and I’m looking for a entry level DSLR.
And I’m stuck between the E-PL1 or NEX-3/NEX-5 or GF1.
I want to be able to take good photos (obviously) and take good, high quality video.
The high quality video is very important because I make youtube videos (http://www.youtube.com/yttobychanthesecond : D) and I’m also hoping that the camera has continuous auto-focus while video recording.
I don’t really care about the size.
I often take really close up photos (just because I think it’s cool), so could you guys also give me any advice on what lenses to choose?
There has been a lot of interest over the past few months in DSLR’s and especially using them for interviews, reviews, and YouTube videos. I have always wanted a DSLR for myself not only for video purposes, but also for taking pictures! Today I we will be unboxing the Pentax Kx DSLR (Amazon Link: amzn.to ) which is an entry level DSLR that many say is a dark horse in the camera market. We will soon find out! These Entry Level DSLR cameras are as easy to use as Point and Shoot Cameras and offer features that allow you to grow as a photographer. Sony Alpha A33 w/ 18-55mm Lens goo.gl Pentax Kr w/ 18-55mm Lens ttp://goo.gl/mf4HF Canon T2i w/ 18-55mm Lens goo.gl Nikon D3100 w/ 18-55mm Lens goo.gl
SO I was thinking the Canon Rebel xs, but apparently they’re really heavy?
Should I go with Nikon?
What one has a good kit-lens?
My budget is around 0 +
We’ll be reviewing this on photoinduced.com in a short while, but we felt you should get a quick tour. A great entry level DSLR with HD Video, 12.3 MP, and one of our faves, the articulated screen. The amount of overhead or low shots we’ve done by approximating the framing, can change with this kind of a rig. Can they get it onto the D700?
